A bit about me…

I’m Stephanie. I’ve had a love for plants and nature for as long as I can remember. I started making and selling natural jewellery as a young teen and was very active in this field. When I was 19, however, I lost a significant part of my eyesight and discovered this would worsen with time. This led to a hiatus in my creating, especially given how small the parts I dealt with were.

As the years went by I really got into gardening and found that growing things gave me that same sense of achievement and worth that making did. Then I discovered air plants… I rediscovered art and craft. Or, moreover, discovered a creative outlet that isn’t greatly impeded by my diminished vision.

So, now I make living art, using air plants. I like air plants so much because of their unusual, sometimes even eerie, appearance and extreme hardiness. They definitely appeal to my inner goth! The fact they don't require soil makes them incredibly versatile and ripe for new invention!

I love working with air plants and I hope you love my creations. <3
